white bar on S4 keyboard

I followed instructions i found online to clear the cache for my predictive text. Now i just have a white bar and no longer have any predictive text at all! How do i correct this? I have restarted, turned predictive text off/on several times, pulled the battery, all the obvious fixes i could think of. It is a Galaxy S4.

What steps did you take to clear the cache? It may have triggered something else, depending on what you actually did. Do you have a link to the directions you followed?

I can't find the link I used, but I searched to clear the predictive text in my keyboard, & i did not specify personalized.
