Google Play purchased Nexus 6 on Verizon with already activated nano sim, workable?

I am just wanting to avoid the bloat and logos and waiting ect... I have read that it makes calls just fine. I'm mainly wondering about 3g access and future VOLTE and anything special that Verizon needs to add to run on their network.

From what I understand it's the same device as what Verizon sells, without bloat. All the hardware is the same. It's really up to Verizon to decide if they will activate it, which they should.

No need to worry about certain bands not working because it's not the Verizon model, which again, is the same sku offered in the Play Store.
