How can I get the internet on my phone to work?

Internet on phone not working

Hi,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini. The internet was working fine on it until I installed a new SD card. Now i cant connect to the internet at all on it. However the internet is working, as i am typing now and my other computers working fine on it. The phone is happy to connect to my wifi. Also the mobile data is turning on and saying that's connected but still nothing will connect to the internet.

Things i have tried...

Reformatting the SD card.
Unmounting it and then trying to connect.
Rebooting the wifi.
Rebooting the phone.
Taking the SD out and trying.
Re installing a blank SD card.
Tried to perform a system update(couldn't connect to wifi so couldn't do that)
No settings changed on phones wifi settings. inc - sleep settings is always on, wifi timers isn't activated.

Please help and give me some suggestions

same thing happend to me couldnt connect to the internet i did a factory reset it fixed it for me but only use it as a last resort

Maybe a factory reset will do the trick?

Before doing a factory reset, turn the phone off. Remove the battery. Remove the SD card. Wait about 15 minutes. Put the battery back in and turn the phone on. See if that helps. (It does a full hardware reset. Keeping the card out just makes sure that it's not the card causing the problem. But you won't lose any data this way, the worst you can lose is 15 minutes.)
