Workaround for using Adobe Flashplayer on Nexus 7?

Bought my Nexus 7 in 2013. I have tried using Dolphin, Jetpack, (nothing) Flashfox, Flashify with Chrome (Warning: nvidia tegra and intel atom cpus not supported), tried adobe flash 11 and enabling plugins. Downloaded Proton Flashplayer (nothing - just asks me to download adobe flash and then says it's not supported on my device).

It isn't comforting to know that 'no-one's using flash nowadays'. Because many of the catch up sites I want to use still do.

Anyone found a workaround?

Many thanks for reading!

You may get an answer here, but you'd probably stand a better chance of getting a helpful reply in the Google Nexus 7 forum. :)

Flash Player 4.x should install (at least up to KitKat - I don't have Lollipop, so I can't say) and Dolphin certainly supports Flash sites with it. (Not that I disagree with those who say that Flash should either disappear or be made illegal, but since neither one will ever happen, we'll have to use Flash.)
