My LG Optimus is in a continuous cycle of restarting and shutting down, what should I do?

With no prompting, the phone will just continuously cycle through starting up and shutting down. In the event that it does boot all the way up there is never any signal and it shuts back down and begins cycling before I can even shut it off all the way

Welcome to Android Central! Which Optimus do you have? Does it have a removable battery? If so, try a new battery.

Hello. Like B.Diddy said, it could be a faulty battery. If there is a a recovery, try clearing the cache.
