Best Android tablet around $250?

I am looking to get my first Android tablet. I have around $250 to spend. I'm thinking that I like the 7-8" screen size. I have been looking at the Nexus 7 (2013) and LG G Pad 8.3". Any suggestions or opinions?

The price is reasonable I am thinking to do that.

At that price I would go for the Nexus 7 (2013). The GPad is fine if you really want an 8.3" screen, but the Nexus 7 is better in most aspects.
