Transferring text messages to PC in a readable format. Help please

Hi guys, need help copying text messages to a pc in a readable format.

So I realize you can save messages to an file on the phone, and as well, the program SMS Backup and & restore will transfer them as well, however, both of these methods turn it into a XML file, which even when converted to a word doc doesn't display well. It uses + for spaces and such.

So is there another app out there that will transfer the text in a readable format, or another way to do this?

Thanks

PS, not that I think it would matter, but it's a Galaxy Note 4

The only really good xml-to-English translator at this yime is the human brain.

The easiest way to put the human-readable message on a PC would be an app like MyPhoneExplorer Client. Bring the message up on the PC side (the app has an accompanying program on the PC), copy it and paste it to Word or wherever you want it.

(Or just learn to read raw xml - it's not that difficult.)

Are you viewing the sms backups from the link on the left of the Gmail inbox. Have you tried to paste them to Google's word doc.
