    So I've had my Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 for 2 weeks, have not dropped it, haven't even had a chance to use it much. Today I notice the glass is shattered beginning on one side. Is this covered under warranty? Is there a replacement available? I am sick about this.

    Welcome to Android Central! That's a bummer--unfortunately, I don't think that'd be covered, because it'd be virtually impossible to improve that it wasn't caused by trauma. There are some companies that offer free screen replacement (e.g., for the HTC One M8, within the first 6 months) or complete replacement (Nexus 5), but I don't think Samsung is one of them.
