How do I set up a Pop3 email account on my Nexus 9?

Setting up pop3 email account

Hello,

Trying to set up a pop3 email account on a new Nexus 9, no security type, port 110 for incoming and 25 for outgoing. I'm just getting a vague error that it cannot connect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Who's the email provider? Are you sure you have every setting correct? Have you entered your username and password everywhere that you can?

Also, does your email provider use an IMAP server as well? Given a choice between IMAP and POP3, you should go for IMAP--it's newer and more fully featured.
