Hello, everyone. So I am giving my sister my old Galaxy S3, the power button on the phone doesn't work and is very sensitive to touch. I factory reset the phone through settings and now it will not turn on! I have tried to use the power button, home key, and volume up button to factory reset it, but since the power button doesn't work i couldn't do that. Can someone please give me way to turn my phone on and reset it?

If you power button is not working then there no other way to turn the device on. You'll need to repair the button to get the device booted and working again.

If you are comfortable with that kind of stuff, you can try opening it up and see if there's a loose connection. Check online for a good how to guide. Good luck!

It's probably a bad power switch (they sell for about 10 cents, so it's amazing that they last more than a few presses). She's going to have to have it working anyway, so you might as well have it replaced. (The labor will be a lot more than 10 cents.)
