If the entire screen iis hot, it's probably not the processor, which is a LOT smaller than the screen. If, as Belodion said, it's warm all over, it's probably okay. If it's hot in one small area, that could be the processor - use an app to measure the temperature. If the entire screen is uncomfortably hot, I'd take it back. But the screen can be a little warmer than the table the tab is sitting on if you're playing a game with a log of fast moving, bright video. That's normal. The LEDs behind the screen (what creates the light you see) do get warm.
