The title says it all. Back in the early days of Android, there were some really awesome live wallpapers. It was one thing I was looking forward to when I switched back, but what happened? Is it that most were copyrighted? I mean I remember a really cool one where it was someone playing through a Mario lvl.

Probably the best answer is most realize they are battery hogs so the popularity in them quickly died off as people looked to eliminate battery drain.

They have been dying out recently. For me, the stock ones started getting more and more horrible, and third party ones have never been that good for me. It is a bummer, I agree.

It really stinks. It was always something I missed, and it's funny how Android users always used it as a big downside to iPhone, but I must say, does anyone notice that android is becoming more and more like ios every day? Lollipop practically copied everything from getting rid of polymorphism to all the different notifications. Now they're locking down on rooting and deleting apps that have competing app stores in their app store. Just tons of things.
