A new Galaxy Note IV. Either came with Uber pre-installed, or self- upgraded to it. Definitely not my doing (I never heard about this company). And Uber never asked me to be installed. ATT could not help. They advised me to reset Android to factory setting but it did not help. Antivirus apps do not see it. How do I get rid of it?

Root. Uninstall. (If you're comfortable rooting and someone has come up with a root exploit for the AT&T Note 4.)

And if it shows up in an update, Phil, just one more reason to keep my Note 3 at 4.4.2. I'm still trying to find a single half-decent reason to update to anything I've seen so far.
