I bought a droid Razer used and I guess that it was rooted at some point I did a factory reset then and several since the phone will not do the KitKat update it ask everyday but half way thru fails like I have read so many are doing is my problem from being rooted do I need to change or do something to settings to let it come thru thanks so much I know nothing about these phones

If it's not rooted now, try bringing it to the carrier's store and ask them to do it for you. Otherwise, look around Motorola Droid RAZR - XDA Forums for help.

Thanks its not rooted now I don't think I've done a factory reset on it and not tried to reroot it I don't won't it rooted don't now anything about it thanks again for the info
