None of my phones can currently connect to LTE and I'd like to see if anybody else is experiencing a similar issue.
I currently use Verizon and, by using SIM adapters, transfer my nano SIM card to a different device almost daily. My current rotation is an iPhone 6, Moto X (2013), HTC 8X, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Motorola Droid Mini, and a BlackBerry Z10.
Everything seems fine for a few months. Eventually, all my phones lose the ability to access LTE. This is resolved by going to Verizon and getting a replacement. This instantly restores my LTE access.
I'm currently using my HTC 8X today. When I turn the phone on, it connects to LTE for a split second before falling back to 1x and then settling on 3G. The phone works fine, but never again connects to LTE with the current SIM.
I try to take care of my SIM by making sure I don't touch the contacts. I'm just confused as to how a possibly worn SIM is still functioning at a level where it can still connect to the network but just can't get 4G.
Has anybody experienced anything similar? I know that not everybody does something like this, but assumed that I can't be the only person switching devices so frequently.
