Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini screen won't turn on after it turns off
Friend dropped in water, but retried it and powered off quickly. I have disassembled piece-by-piece and cleaned/inspected all boards for an signs of corrosion. Unit still does not show screen after it auto-blanks itself. I usually have to remove/replace battery to reset it. However, I can now (by trial and error method) press/hold POWER button to shut off and then do again to turn back on/return screen back to viewing. This only works if I quickly swipe screen and then while using phone until done. If I press POWER/LOCK button or let it time out, screen goes blank again and I have to start over with hard or soft-boot again. I read somewhere about a "sleep mode", but find nothing about it in User Manual. Help is greatly needed and appreciated.
Thanks in advance to whomever responds.
