    I have tried this many many times. I open Chrome, go to the overflow menau - Settings - Privacy - Clear Browsing Data - Tick everything except Saved Passwords - Press Clear. Now, if I go to the overflow menu and press History, all my browsing history is still in there. AARGGGHHH!! Surely I cant be doing anything wrong here, can I?? I can delete the browsing history from this list one by one, but selecting to delete it all from the Clear Browsing Data option just doesnt work. Please tell me where I am going wrong!!

    Welcome to the forums.☺

    I think from your description the answer will be Yes but could you just confirm that you've followed the procedure described here:

    It's the bit about the 'beginning of time' I'm thinking of.

    Hi Belodion, that link is for the desktop version of Chrome. I am trying to wipe my Note 4 Android Chrome history, but cannot see how it is possible.

    I am new to this, but I just cleared history on my Note 3 -
    Bottom right - recent tabs (clock face)
    show full history (clock face) (under recently closed)
    clear browsing data (bottom)
    menu - check or uncheck fields
    let Chrome do its thing
