Why am I unable to get the display to fit inside my TV screen on Gbox?

on gbox i cannot get the display to fit inside my tv screen.

words and icons are off of the screen. i have tried settings and display but even at 80% i still have a screen size much larger than the tv screen. i even tried factory reset.

Welcome to Android Central! Is that the name of your Android TV box? "Gbox"? Do you have a full model name or number?

Is it a stick that plugs directly into the TV's HDMI port, or do you have to use a cable? If you use an HDMI cable, try using a different one. Also, check your TV's settings to see if there is any way to adjust the resolution of that specific HDMI input.

Did this Gbox ever work, or has it always been like this? These kinds of TV boxes can be prone to glitches and errors due to poor build and faulty hardware/firmware. Quality control is often not a priority with these companies--they're just trying to crank things out cheaply.

I have not meet this kind of problems, I am now using ZIDOO X9 TV box, displays can fit inside the screen size well, it runs smoothly.But it needs updated usually.
