I have a Galaxy S5. I use a pattern as my security, it has been the same pattern for about a year. Last night I went to bed using a sleep timer and the Google music player. When I woke up this morning and turned on my phone my patten dissappeard. I assumed maybe it didn't lock so I clicked the power button to force lock and when I turned it back on there wasn't a pattern, just a swype to unlock. I went into lock screen settings and sure enough the setting was changed to swype. I didn't do anything differently last night than I have in the past and am at an absolute loss of words. So how could a security option automatically disable itself?
