Why are my MMS messages so slow on my Galaxy Note 3 from Verizon?

I have a galaxy note 3 from verizon

.I just switched to straight talk .they had to send me a Sim card as the AT&T and t-mobile won't work . everything works fine but the mms messages are very slow to send and every time I want on the Internet I have to restart my phone or it won't connect. straight talk says I don't need to change my apn settings . I looked and it still has all of the Verizon info and not straight talk . I've had this service for one lousy day and I would like it fixed . so any answers would be great

Possibly a duff SIM? Ask them to send you another.
Check first that the SIM you've got is seated correctly.
