Why can't I see my screen in daylight?

cant see screen in daylight

hello,i just received my asus zen smart watch,a nice looking watch,but I cant see the screen in broad daylight.can any one help?

Welcome to Android Central! This is a common problem with smartwatches that use LED displays. To a certain degree, it's the same with other watches like the Moto 360. Watches with an e-ink display like the Pebble are much easier to read in bright sunlight. The only thing you can do is to shade the watch from the bright light if you want to see it clearly.
