can you change the megapixil to 13 on moto G?

I can change my camera megapixil to 13 on my s4. I am not finding it on my husband's moto phone. Can you change his setting?

Welcome to Android Central! No, because the 2013 Moto G's camera is 5 MP, and the 2014 Moto G's camera is 8 MP.
