Why cant I enter digits in call?

Meaning when I dial my voicemail the password does not take. Also all automated "Enter your numbers then press pound" the number does not take and ALWAYS yeilds a incorrect password no matter if its voicemail, bank, or conference bridge dial in on the stock phone app. I've been getting around this using the Skype phone option but would rather have to do that.

This was not an issue before updating to 5.0, Galaxy S4.

Anyone know what is going on here?

That's odd. I would think it's an issue on the carriers end, rather than your device since you can achieve this with Skype (although it's not preferred). There are third-party dialer apps in the Play Store, you might want to see if one of those may work.
