How to effectively get rid of screen burn or ghost images?

I have screen burn or ghost images on my phone that started about a week ago. What is the most effective way to get rid of it. Bought off contract last year.

I wasn't sure how successful it would be. I tried something similar for 2 hrs and it didn't seem to change anything. Do you know if others here have found it to be successful for them?

I was just going by the reviews, but of course some of them might not be legit. Sorry, I don't have any direct nor indirect experience with it.
