    I also brought a new batter, still the apps crash and the battery drains much quicker. And they constantly pop up with a low device memory notification.

    Rebooting, in the sense of Power Off the phone followed by Restart, will cause no losses. I don't think it will fix your problems though. There are three other things you can try:

    - Go to Settings, Storage, Cached data, and wipe the cache....it may help and you will lose no personal data, which includes pictures and music.
    - Try entering Recovery Mode and wiping the Cache Partition, which may help, and which also will cause no loss of personal data.
    - You may also care to try a Factory Reset, which may fix your problems but which will very definitely cause the loss of all your personal data which has not been backed up, so make sure you backup first.
