I took the back cover off of my phone the other day and took out the battery put it back in turn my phone on and all of a sudden my sd card wasn't being read. I turned my phone off again and took out the SD card and put it back in again turn my phone on and it still isn't recognizing it. I have a 32 GB memory card, and I have lost everything. I have even tried putting it in an adapter and putting it in my computer and its not recognizing it there either. Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! Why were you pulling the battery--was the phone frozen? If the phone was in the middle of writing to the SD card when you pulled the battery, you might have corrupted the card.

When you insert it into the computer's card reader, does it not even recognize that a card is in? That's a bad sign, suggesting that the card is totally shot. If the computer does recognize the card, try running chkdsk: http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...d-sd-card.html
