How can I permanently remove a calendar that I added on Samsung Galaxy s3?

Want to remove an entire calendar that I added and all related items. When I go to "calendars" and "edit", it only allows me to add more calendars, not edit or delete them. The only one that shows on the edit screen is My Calendar and the delete tap is grayed out.
