Is there a fix to my Samsung s3 Auto turning off?

[AC Question]

This problem arose yesterday and has continued into today. Every time I start my phone, it turns itself off. My S3 has been dropped a little but not from any sort of high heights. Was fully charged when I made this trial. Is this a problem I should take up w/ Samsung or can I repair it on my own?

Definitely something physically broken. (Dropped just right (wrong?) way, you can break things in the phone dropping it 6 inches to a piece of soft wood.)

Possibly a bad battery? Take it out and try to spin it on a flat smooth surface. If it does, it has a bulge and is bad (the bulge can also cause a poor connection).
