Basically, my phone appears to charge fine in general. But it slows down as the current drops for no reason over time.
It doesn't seem to ever reach 0A, but it does go down to about ~0.3A.
I am using the 'Charging Current' app as suggested by previous posts about charging problems.
It starts off as a solid 1A. However, after about 10+ minutes it begins to gradually drop.
I am using one of those USB-to-wall chargers. I have also tried another charger, one that goes directly to the wall socket. However, since it's for another phone it starts off at 0.7A and drops down again.

What is the reason for this weird current drop?

Welcome to Android Central! My understanding is that as a battery charges up and gets closer to full, the current automatically starts to go down.
