How can I resolve a failure to recognise passwords problem ?

My Galaxy S4 has developed a glitch whereby it doesn't recognise any passwords . Even if I opt to change a password , I enter the new password but when I enter the same password to confirm it , it tells me they are different . Would greatly appreciate any ideas on how to resolve this issue . As you can imagine it's causing serous problems .

Hello. I don't completely understand.
It sounds like you are not talking about a lock screen password, as you don't enter a copy.
One thing I notice is if you are on a site where you have to confirm a password (or a postcode / zipcode) it won't recognise it if you paste it in, you have to use the keyboard.
