Go into settings>Accounts and Sync>Facebook and check the box for syncing contacts. If that has already been done and they still do not appear; open your People app (contacts), and in the upper Left corner touch phonebook and select FaceBook as a source. You may end up with multiple entries for contacts after this which can be linked together. Once linked you can Edit the contact and select which name and profile pic is displayed in the People app.

The process should be the same for most android. I know better than to say all, but the process should work for any android running 4.2 or higher.
