Why is my mobile data lost?

If you're saying that you have lost your mobile data connection, try a) turning Mobile Data off, wait for half a minute, then turn on again; b) turn Airplane Mode on, wait half a minute, then turn off again; and c) Powering Off and Restarting the phone. Turning WiFi on and off may also help. Finish by turning Mobile Data on.
In other words, toggling those things off and on, or on and off, in various combinations, will usually fix the problem. But it will not help if there is temporarily no signal from the network mast.

If however you're saying that you cannot enable mobile data on a new device, that's a different matter. It would be best to check with your network provider or carrier, that you have the correct settings, and that your SIM card is good.
