How can I get my photos back in the Gallery folder on my LG G2 AT&T version?

All my photos are missing from my gallery don't know how but when I go to file manager their in that folder how can I get them back to the gallery

Welcome to Android Central! Are these all photos you took with the camera? Use the file manager and look in the directory where all of the photos are stored--make sure there isn't a ".nomedia" file hidden in there. If there is, delete it. .nomedia instructs the system to ignore the directory when looking for media files to populate the Gallery and other media apps.

If you don't see a .nomedia file, then go to Settings>Apps>All, select Gallery, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now open it again, and wait a few seconds for the database to rebuild. Do you see the photos now?
