M8 updated to 5.0.1 - Now buggy. Worst is home button not working. Anyone else similar?

Updated software to 5.0.1 yesterday. Impressed with some aspects - NOT impressed by others - especially problems with my home button. It takes a press and gives 'feedback' and 'illuminates' so to speak but does not function as it should. Doesn't take me back to my home page screen and getting out of emails or browsing is not too much fun. Anyone else observed such problems and how d'you fix it?

C'mon HTC - please FULLY test all aspects and omly roll oiut well tested updates.......or is it something I've done/doing?

Welcome to the forums. I would at least do a cache wipe in recovery first: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ht...ow-reboot-into-stock-recovery-htc-one-m8.html

You may also need to consider doing a factory reset.
