What is this mysterious icon on my screen?

Mysterious icon

I have the Galaxy Note 4 and up at the top where the icons are there's one its a white square with what would be a capital N and I don't know what after it goes to what it's for anybody have any insight?

Please post screenshots (you can create screenshot by pressing Power and Volume- buttons at same time for few seconds if you running Android 4.0 or higher)!
