The green log icon has disappeared from my screen, how do i get it back?

I have noticed that the green log icon has disappeared from my screen, and as well as that disappearing i cant manage to access the keypad to dial out? Is it something i have done? How can i fix it?

I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean by 'green log icon'. What is the function of it?
Whatever it is, any app icon in your app drawer can be long-pressed, and moved with a finger to the left of the screen, to make it take up a position on a home screen.
