AC Question

I woke up this morning and I noticed on my notification screen that there is a notification, "Device Manager is.."

I can not swipe it away and it won't tell me what my phone needs.

How can i figure out why it is giving me this notification?

How can i fix whatever is wrong so the notification goes away?

Is anyone logged into your Google account? It sounds like Device Manager (which you can access through the Play Store in a web browser) is trying to do something remotely to your phone, and it might be a location request (for lost devices) or remotely locking your screen or displaying a message.

A restart should clear that up, or if you're sure no one is doing that from your account, you could try going into Settings, look for the Security options, Device Administrators, and disable Android Device Manager, reboot, and re-enable it. (or if you're sure that you won't use it in the future, you can leave it disabled... but that would mean that you will no longer be able to remotely wipe your device if it is stolen/lost).
