when I try to delete it it says it may affect other apps can I delete without it affecting my other apps

You could always delete it and if you notice any ill effects that you could go to Google Play Store and reinstall it. Or instead of deleting it you could just disable it for awhile and see how that effects anything.

Unless you are rooted, you can only disable system apps like Music.
