Welcome to Android Central! What were you doing when it froze? You can typically force a power off on any Android device by pressing and holding the Power button for 10-20 seconds. Then wait a few seconds, and try to power on again. If it doesn't power on or boot up, then something is probably very wrong with the hardware.
