Otter Box Defender Case causes loss of sensitivity on screen on LG G3

Hi, I have the Otter Box Defender for the LG G3 and I find that in the middle and edges I loose sensitivity. Any one else, as I see this is common for this model on several phones? Do you trust the iShieldz screen protector to put on or should I go for the life proof case?
