How do I move contacts from a Verizon cloud to a new Droid Maxx?

Just got a new Droid Maxx & they want to charge me $30.00 to move my contacts from Verizon cloud to the new phone I ordered. Help!

Welcome to Android Central! Are you unable to log into Verizon Cloud using the new phone? If the contacts are in the cloud, I would guess that they're accessible from any phone that's logged into your Verizon Cloud account.

This is why I always recommend saving your contacts to your Google account. It's free and probably more secure than Verizon Cloud.
