Why won't my S5 phone charge?

s5 phone wont charge yield sign with battery

Tried 3 different s5 chargers phone vibrates then shows yield sign with battery. repeatedly pops up. Tried just usb charge same issue. Had the phone 5 months. Issue started this week 2/2/15.

I am finding conflicting information. However, the common agreement is a depleted battery, one that will no longer accept a charge. Have you tried a different battery?

try charging the battery using an external charger
