why is my trio saying that its a demo?

I have had my tablet for 2 or 3 months now an been able to get in to every thing on it but now I can't even get in to my settings. When I try it closes down my app an it reads across the bottom of the the screen this is a demo users request failed.

Welcome to Android Central! Where did you get it? It may have been a floor model, which sometimes have a special demo ROM (i.e., the firmware) installed. If you can't find any demo setting in the system settings, then you may be stuck, since the only way to change the ROM would be to root the device and flash a compatible ROM. You'd have to search for that.
