How do I connect my usb mass storage?

okay so i want to recover my pics on s3 mini so i need to plug it as a usb mass storage
u cant find my usb utilities
so plz help me
i just want to be connected as a usb mass storage

Hello. Welcome to Android Central.

That's not very clear to me.
You don't say if the phone is broken but you want to recover photos.

Does your pc recognize the drive but you can't find the pics.
If not try installing Samsung Kies on your pc, and it will install suitable drivers once you connect via usb.

When you first plug in to a pc port, you should get a notification on the phone with a usb symbol, saying : Connected as a media MTP device. You can also try changing this to a photo PTP device, but either should do.

You sadly will not be able to access the device if you had a secure pin/pw Lock Screen and cannot unlock it.

Once in the photos will be in the DCIM folder.
