Why is my Galaxy S5 Toggles between WiFi and Mobil Data

Hello Crashdamage! Thank you for your advice.

No, it didn't work turning the router and phone off after "forgetting the WiFi connection. And yes, the phone does the same with other WiFi signals elsewhere.

What would your next suggestion be?

It would really help if you registered on this forum so that you can continue a discussion in the thread you started. Crashdamage may very well not realize that you responded in a new thread in the Ask A Question forum.

If your S5 recently updated to Lollipop, there have been a number of posts about wi-fi dropouts. It seems to be related in large part to the Smart Network option in the Advanced Wi-fi settings (go to Settings>Wi-fi​, tap Menu>Advanced). Turn that option off and see if that helps.
