My Galaxy S4 is very close to the 11.8GB capacity. When I look through the folders and check the properties the total size is no more than around 6GB. Photos take up around 4GB but other than that no folder is of significant size. So I have no idea what to delete apart from the photos. I have Spotify on the phone but when I check the folders the total GB is very low. Which is strange as I have over 2,500 songs downloaded. Can anybody help?

You don't have to delete. You can upload photos to Cloud storage, for example.
