I have a HTC Desire EYE. My screen usually automatically rotates, but it has stopped.

Welcome to the forums. Have you tried a restart?

You may have turned off the auto-rotate feature. Not sure on that specific device but you may have a toggle in the notification shade. If not, you can open the Settings app, go into Accessibility, and then there should be an option for "Auto-rotate screen". Depending on your OS version, you may also find the same checkbox option in Settings -> Display -> Auto-rotate Screen
