Microphone and OK Google stopped working
The microphone on my droid mini would occasionally stop working, whether trying to make a phone call (with or without Google Voice), recording a video, using OK Google, or using Voice-to-text with Swype. A reboot always fixed the problem -- until now.
I rebooted multiple times. Then I uninstalled Swype. Then I did a factory data reset. Turned Google voice typing on and then off. Went into airplane mode and back. Turned off wi-fi and went with 4g network. Turned off 4g and went with wi-fi. Tried different wi-fi networks.
I still can't get the microphone to work, whether using non-Google services (e.g. a phone call), and with Google services, I'm told that it "can't reach Google at the moment."
Any new suggestions?
