Hey guys. I have an android media player and would like to read/write files to it via my Android phone over wifi. At the moment I'm having to download media on my notebook then connect my external hdd to it and transfer it that way.. which I know doesn't seem too difficult but when you throw two young kids into the mix who like cords etc it becomes a pain... so any names of apps would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers in advance.

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not sure about wi-fi file transfer directly between two devices, but you could use AirDroid or Wi-fi File Explorer to transfer the file first to your computer, then from the computer to the media player (assuming you can install that app on the media player as well). If the media player has Bluetooth, you could also try transferring the files over Bluetooth, using Bluetooth File Transfer.
