I know if there is a will then there is a way. I know there is way! but is there enough unanimous will, is what I am wondering.

My phone is a Kyocera Hydro Icon, with an updated KitKat OS. It was a 4.3 when I got it several months ago.I bought it from a local boost mobile store.

An online site suggested to me that if my phone were rootable, that it would either only be temp-root or too difficult, yet I found an how-to article though it did not mention if it were temp- or perma-root. A precious link to the page mentioned that apps usu. do not give aperma-root to a phone.

From my research, an unlockable phone is one on a GSM network/has a removable SIM card. Mine has one of those cards, though it appears to be on a CDMA network since it came from boost, whom is powered by Sprint.

In advance, thank you for accepting my Question and Details and am looking forward to your remark, Brian

I have the same phone and no, you can not root this phone on 4.4.2, I am trying to find a working root but to no avail, if it were on 4.3 or lower, yes, you could, we're both S.O.L.!
